In 2006, The Samburu Project along with partner member organizations launched the Coalition for a Sustainable Africa (CSAfrica), an umbrella organization headquartered in Los Angeles created to amplify the efforts and effectiveness of grass-roots organizations working on the ground in Africa. By establishing long-range goals around the concepts of sustainability, the coalition is facilitating a way for like-minded organizations to work collaboratively and share resources, while strengthening each individual organization. Founding members with The Samburu Project include Earth Rights Institute, Empowerment Works,Necessity Housing, NextAid, TunaHaki, and TreeMedia.
Women’s Coalition for World Reform
The Women’s Coalition for World Reform is a non-profit organization working to preserve civilization, tradition and natural resources by providing water to tribal cultures in Africa and the U.S.A.
