Looking to gain experience working with an international non-profit? Want to make a dent in the World Water Crisis?

Each year, The Samburu Project offers a limited number of opportunities to students and individuals passionate about making a difference. Working with our small LA based team, you will learn how to use your skillset to improve outreach, create content, run programs, and more, all while impacting the lives of people in need!

RESPONIBILITIES

Internships are individually crafted by the TSP staff to fit each students interests. We offer interns a flexible schedule but expect students to dedicate 12-16 hours a week. Examples of past internship roles include:

  • Community outreach

  • Marketing

  • Event Planning

  • Program Design

  • Grant Research

  • Mapping

QUALIFICATIONS

The most important quality an intern can bring to TSP is a passion for our work. In addition to that outlook, we are also looking for students who are:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc)

  • Comfortable using Google Drive and associated functions

  • Have excellent written, verbal, and email communication skills

  • Candidates should be reliable, self-motivated, highly organized, efficient, and detail-oriented

  • Flexible and willing to learn and take on a wide range of responsibilities

  • Previous experience with MailChimp, Copper, or FLICKR preferred but not required
