The Samburu Project offers a simple solution to an extraordinary problem through well drilling. Since 2005, we've drilled 100 wells, bringing clean safe drinking water to over 100,000 people.

The impact of clean water on a community in Samburu can be measured in the increase in the number of children going to school for the first time, the decrease in the times people get sick from water borne diseases, the amount of income generated by micro enterprise or agricultural initiatives, the increase in food security and dietary diversity generated by home and community gardens, the increase in livestock herds, and the smiles on the faces of the 100,000 people we serve.

Water is Health, Education, Community, Empowerment, Dignity, Hope, LIFE

TSP has worked with dozens of individuals, families and foundations since 2005 to provide clean water in Kenya.  Our drilling process begins with site selections in the summer and drilling commences in the fall.  It is always our goal to complete our annual well drill before the end of the year to beat the rainy season.  A well costs $22,000 and supplies clean water for life for 1,000 people.   They are regularly inspected by our team on the ground and maintained by the local community.  If you would like to discuss providing clean water to a Samburu village, please contact us.
