The Samburu Project’s WALK FOR WATER is an an annual fundraising event to grow awareness of the worldwide water crisis and to provide access to clean water to the Samburu people in Northern Kenya.
You can watch a video recap of the event at HERE.
What began as a Southern California beach walk has grown into a national event. Walks were held in Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Detroit, Fredericksburg VA, Natick MA, New York, Malibu, San Francisco, Scarsdale, NY, Washington, D.C. and Woodside, CA.
TSP welcomes water warriors in additional cities to join the fun and be part of our global community. Helping solve the water crisis can be as easy as a walk in the park with your friends - or a bike ride, or running laps around a track, dancing for water is great too. Anything you want to do to have fun, spread awareness and fundraise for TSP is fantastic! Got a fun idea? We want to hear from you. Contact Victoria at TSP HQ to let us know you want to mobilize your community for clean water. It’s easier than you think. (Victoria@thesamburuproject.org or call 310.881.7265)
