Mercy Ntereuwa

Mercy Ntereuwa comes from a remote village in Samburu East called Ngusoroni. Mercy is on the path to becoming a teacher so she can pass on the importance of education to her community and be a role model to young girls in her village.

 

Angela Lesamaja

Angela Lesamaja is 15 years old from Sere Olipi and attends Sere Olipi Primary School. After having the opportunity to observe a female doctor, Angela was inspired to pursue a degree in medicine so she can impact her family and community through improved health.

 

Rehema Lesiapadei

Rehema Lesiapadei is 16 years old from Lerata A village in Samburu East. Rehema attends St. Monica Girls School and wishes to become a journalist. She hopes to be an inspiration to her younger sisters and other girls from her village to continue to study and pursue their dreams. 

 

Ndil Justina

Ndil Justina is a 16 year old from Sere Rongai village in Sere Olipi. Ndil is studying hard with the hope of one day becoming a doctor or a lawyer so she can support her pastoralist family. Like the other students, Ndil is grateful for the TSP & The Thorn Tree Project's mentorship program, and knows it will have a huge impact on young girls.

 

Sebastian Lesepe

Sebastian Lmalumalua Lesepe is 15 years old from Lerata A village located in Samburu East. Sebastian attends Kaaga Boys Secondary School. Since he was a little boy, Sebastian’s dream was to become a mechanical engineer like his older sister.
